Rex has been good about making all of our dinner reservations according to the recommendations I’ve posted here, but we’ve got one more night for dinner in the Outer Banks. Brent’s friend Stacy has offered up the North Banks Restaurant and Raw Bar in Corolla, North Carolina, for fresh local fish, whole Maine lobster, steamed seafood combos and more… we just might give it a try on Sunday evening.
Locals promise that everything is soooo good, so we won’t have any trouble finding something for my Jedi clam eaters. North Banks doesn’t take reservations, so we’re lucky we’re traveling in the “off seaon” to avoid a line of hungry people around the block. Even so, we’ll be arriving around five and lookin’ for the early bird special!

I’ve lived in Corolla 19 years and North Banks is my all time favorite! Everything is excellent! You’ll love it! I recommend it to people about 100 times a year! If you have time (2hours) to go see the Wild Spanish Mustangs up in the 4 wheel drive area, call Back Country at 252-453-0877! Jan Riggs

Jan,
Thanks so much for stopping by Roxy’s Best Of…Duck, NC and sharing your thoughts…we will definitely get to North Banks on Sunday night…do they take reservations? From some of the reviews I read online, it sounded like there’s a long line out the door every night!
As for the Wild Spanish Mustangs, we are driving down to the Outer Banks via a night in Assateague…so if we don’t see any wild horses there, we’ll make time for the Wild Horse Safari you recommended.
Thanks again!
